The Bukit
Juru (Juru Hill) forest reserve (Coordinates: 5.328525, 100.408674) has been
refreshed with the addition of hand railings, tree tagging, signboards and
concrete benches, among others. There are 646 stairways till the hill top. There
are few spots have the breathtaking attractions. Bukit Juru is also a place of
transition for various types of bird species. Among the species found here are
Japanese sparrow hawk, plaintive cuckoo, collared kingfisher, changeable
hawk-eagle and chestnut-headed bee-eater and etcetera.
